Step-by-Step Online Application Procedure

Applications must be completed digitally through the university management system. Complete instructions are outlined in the official SGOU admission user manual.

  1. Visit the SGOU ERP portal and complete the pre-registration with a valid mobile number and email address.
  2. Log into your dashboard and click on either the UG Programme or PG Programme tab.
  3. Select the desired course, review the overview, curriculum, and fees tabs, then click ‘APPLY NOW’.
  4. Navigate to the Qualification tab (Tab 2) and click ‘Add New’. Enter 10th and Plus 2 details for UG courses, or 10th, Plus 2, and Degree details for PG courses, and save.
  5. Upload scanned certificates against each added qualification.
  6. Upload passport photo (using the cropper tool if needed), scanned signature, identity proof document, and Transfer Certificate (if aged below 45 years).
  7. Select up to three preferred Learner Support Centres (LSCs) in Kerala. LSC selection cannot be changed once submitted.
  8. Select an available counseling slot date and Regional Centre for physical verification of original certificates.
  9. Pay the first-semester fee and admission fee online via credit card, debit card, Net Banking, or UPI, and download the payment receipt.

Document Verification and Learner Support Centres

Academic counseling and physical verification take place at designated Learner Support Centres (LSCs) and Regional Centres across Kerala. Learners can view LSC locations on the SGOU learner support centres portal.

  • Do not visit verification centers without receiving official notification from SGOU.
  • Candidates must attend physical verification on the date and time selected during counseling slot selection.
  • Original mark sheets, certificates, ID proof, and reservation documents must be produced during verification.
  • If fraudulent documents or disqualifications are found during verification, the application will be rejected.
  • Admission is formally confirmed only upon successful completion of physical document verification.
