PG Admission Eligibility and Document Requirements

Applicants seeking admission to post graduate degree courses must have completed a recognized Degree / Equivalent qualification. Step-by-Step Online Application Process

Pre-registration and admissions for the 2026-2027 academic year are open through the SGOU online portal. Complete guidelines are provided in the official SGOU admission user manual.

  1. Register on the admission portal using a valid Indian mobile number and email address.
  2. Log in to the dashboard and complete candidate profile details.
  3. Click on ‘UG/PG Programme’ and select the PG tab to choose the desired degree programme.
  4. Review programme details, including outcomes, curriculum, and fees.
  5. Go to ‘Tab 2 – Qualification’ and click ‘Add New’ to enter details for 10th level, Plus 2/Pre-Degree level, and Degree/Equivalent level.
  6. Upload supporting educational documents against each added qualification.
  7. Upload candidate photograph and signature using the editing/cropper tool.
  8. Upload identity documents, Transfer Certificate, and caste/income certificates (if applicable).
  9. Select up to three preferred Learner Support Centres (LSCs) across Kerala.
  10. Pay the first-semester fee and admission fee online to submit the application.

Fee Payment Guidelines and Online Modes

All fee transactions must be made online via the university portal. Neither SGOU nor its Learner Support Centres accepts cash payments directly from students.

Verification and Admission Confirmation
